The self-contained apartment is modern, bright, airy and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. Located close to Lewes and the South Downs, we are in a quiet lane a few minutes walk from Barcombe village, with its shop, post office and pub. The area is very picturesque with many footpaths including a lovely walk into Lewes itself along the river Ouse.

Very hospitable and accommodating especially when we had a problem when we needed some help.

Tips:

Would recommend a pub called," The Cock", at Ringmer.BN85 RX. Good down to earth food and some good ales.

Alison and John have always been very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Tips:

Lewes the county town has everything most people would need. Brighton is just a few miles away. There are numerous restaurants within easy reach and lots of places to visit.

Alison and John were extremely helpful as usual before and after our arrival. They have always been extremely pleasant and accommodating.

Tips:

Lewes is the county town of Sussex and a great place to visit. There is plenty of history in and around Lewes but at the same time it is a modern and up to date town with good transport links to Brighton etc. There is a good choice of restaurants in and around the area.
